My philosophy: I believe all families deserve support to meet their baby feeding goals. However they decide to feed their babies, is the “Right way”. I guide birth professionals to provide judgment free support and believe it is important to meet families where they are at. This is the key to making families feel seen, supported and ultimately satisfied with their baby feeding journey.

Kassi Reyes RN, IBCLC, MSN, MPH

Kassi is a Clinical Educator, RN, IBCLC Lactation Consultant, and Mamá.

Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Kassi has worn many hats in her 18 + year career: nursing professor, lactation consultant, postpartum nurse, and doula.

Kassi’s journey into lactation support started when she was working as a doula and felt unsure about how to help her clients with feeding challenges. That uncertainty pushed her to become an IBCLC, a process that took four years and taught her a lot about the gaps in lactation education for birthworkers.

Determined to make lactation support more accessible and less intimidating, she founded the Bridge Advanced Lactation Training Program to give birthworkers and providers the skills they need to support families with confidence.

She’s passionate about helping birthworkers feel prepared and empowered because she knows the more feeding knowledge everyone on the care team has, the more successful and supported families will feel.

When she’s not teaching or helping families, you’ll probably find Kassi enjoying a (hopefully hot) cup of coffee, practicing yoga, spending time outside, or planning her next travel adventure
