I had no idea how much I didn’t know about breastfeeding until I took this course!
Kassi is incredibly knowledgeable, and this training was truly invaluable for expanding the support I can offer my postpartum clients.
The videos were engaging, the supplemental materials were outstanding, and I now feel fully equipped to provide families with quality lactation support.
An exceptional, comprehensive course from start to finish!

Doula, Joyful Journey Coaching

Hi I'm Kassi!
I am a Clinical Educator, RN, IBCLC Lactation Consultant, Doula and Mamá.
I am bilingual in English and Spanish.
When I started working as a doula, I felt shaky at best while trying to support my clients with baby feeding.
The certification path I took certainly isn't the right one for everyone, and it isn't the only way to feel confident helping families with breastfeeding.
I am extremely passionate about educating birthworkers and providers about lactation and baby feeding. WHY?! Because I believe birthworkers are the missing puzzle piece to more families feeling empowered on their feeding journeys.
I know in my heart that the more lactation knowledge EVERY person on the care team has, the more families are going to feel successful and less alone as they navigate the challenges of feeding their babies.
In my spare time, I love to sit with a warm cup of coffee (or cold...I am a mom now), practice yoga, spend time outdoors, and travel the world.
I am so excited to meet you!
"I feel so much more confident in offering breastfeeding support. This is a huge service in my doula work and my clients really love this. I love that I can give back in an area I really struggled with. I don’t have to be a nurse or medical professional to offer breastfeeding support! "

"The Investment is well worth it."
" I was absolutely blown away by Kassi’s ability to break down complex information in a truly easy to understand format.
I have taken formal breastfeeding trainings, over 95 hours worth and I gained more knowledge from Kassi’s program than I did during all of the other trainings combined.
Kassi helped me understand how to implement the knowledge in order to help families in a confident and proactive way. I highly recommended signing up for her training in order to better support families and increase your knowledge around lactation. The investment is well worth it.

"After attending Bridge, I am more confident in supporting moms in their feeding journey..."
"Working with Kassi was incredible! She is very knowledgeable and respectful of the mom’s desired feeding journey and how doulas can support them! The classes were relaxed, interactive, and informative. Kassi provided a lot of great resources that we can share with our clients and made sure she was evidence-based first.
After attending Bridge, I am more confident in supporting moms in their feeding journey. If you are considering to working with Kassi as an IBCLC or as a birthworker - do it!!!

"Ability to easily share her wealth of information..."
"As she mentored me, I was struck by her compassion for new mothers and her ability to easily share her wealth of information. Kassi worked closely with us to further educate on the importance of providing exceptional lactation support, as well as to best meet each patient’s individual needs. Kassi is a constant learner and educator.
