"Being in Bridge transformed the lactation support I offer mamas as a postpartum doula"
"Being in Bridge transformed the lactation support I offer mamas as a postpartum doula. I have so much more confidence in answering their questions and even teaching them about lactation. I knew the basics before Bridge, but I can now confidently say I know so much more than the basics. I am now offering specific lactation education prenatals and pumping preparation prenatals for my postpartum clients. Kassi is incredibly knowledgeable and skillful at helping her students so they can in turn help mamas.

"After attending Bridge, I am more confident in supporting moms in their feeding journey..."
"Working with Kassi was incredible! She is very knowledgeable and respectful of the mom’s desired feeding journey and how doulas can support them! The classes were relaxed, interactive, and informative. Kassi provided a lot of great resources that we can share with our clients and made sure she was evidence-based first. After attending Bridge, I am more confident in supporting moms in their feeding journey. If you are considering to working with Kassi as an IBCLC or as a birthworker - do it!!!

Hi I'm Kassi!
I am a Clinical Educator, RN, IBCLC Lactation Consultant, and Mamá. I have 18+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse, including work as a nursing professor, lactation consultant, postpartum nurse, and doula.
I am bilingual in English and Spanish.
When I started working as a doula, I felt shaky at best while trying to support my clients with baby feeding.
So... I decided to become an IBCLC...which took me 4 years.
This path certainly isn't the right one for everyone, and it isn't the only way to feel confident helping families with breastfeeding.
I am extremely passionate about educating birthworkers and providers about lactation and baby feeding.
You are in a unique position to guide families toward success and help save a lactation journey that is going South. You can be the bridge and I'd love to show you how.
I know in my heart that the more feeding knowledge EVERY person on the care team has, the more families are going to feel successful and less alone as they navigate feeding challenges.
In my spare time, I love to sit with a warm cup of coffee (or cold...I am a mom now), practice yoga, spend time outdoors, and travel the world.
I am so excited to meet you!
